Read again the complaints without thinking it's some kind of attack dude, i love M&B and it's my most played game ever since the beta of the original one (must have more than 5k hours in it spread across classic and warband over the years) and that's why i'm here complaining, i want bannerlord to be an amazing game, i want it to be a natural evolution of warband just like the later was from M&B classic but beyond pretty graphics and the combat everything else is actually worse in bannerlord than it was in warband.Because I don't understand peoples complaints. I don't and never have. The game is brilliant. It looks great. It plays great. It's taken the formula of Warband and improved it.
In Summary: Every time people s**t on Bannerlord I take it to mean they hate Warband and that breaks my heart.
Warband had no mainquest, viking conquest had an amazing and immersive mainquest, bannerlord has a chore disguised as a mainquest where you run across the entire continent trying to learn some lore snippets then do a thousand generic hideout quests and stop the weapon caravans until you can stop the conspiracy, if you fail 3 factions declare war on your own and that's it, no unique scenes, twists, lore development nothing, it would be better no mainquest than this.
Same goes for every other feature outside combat (which is really good but again has problems, armors were much better balanced in warband for example, in bannerlord it looks like they are made out of paper and they implemented formations but the AI don't know to fight in them)
smithing is broken since release and had a better system before where you payed a smith to create things to you like was shown years ago (would be best if we had both alternatives)
combat AI is horrible and there is talk of they wanting to dumb it down even further to increase FPS target in consoles.
Campaign AI needs major work aswell with armies besieging deep into enemy territory where they have no chance of defending instead of bordering fiefs, no evolution at all from warband in that department.
Non-existent diplomacy, campaign strategy, the AI armies just move around aimlessly besieging fiefs they see as weakly defended without any sort of plan for the wars that happen entirely random.
missing dialogues and other features that warband had and now are considered too complicated to be implemented in the successor and the list goes on, as was said to you before there are threads compiling both missing features from warband and missing features that were shown during the gamescom/E3 videos and devblogs.
Those would be the very minimum the community wants, the game has to be an improvement over warband and not a setback with prettier graphics.
