Enemy Lord *raids your village for the 20th time*
Me:Chase them down and catch them with my army*
Enemy Lord: "I have no desire to fight you."
Me: *Angry lord noises* and *Exasperation skill has increased by 20 to 140*

Trying to defend your villages from raiding is like:

So ultimately what's the negative of executing these lords? I know it causes negative relation with pretty much everybody. But what are the consequences?
To this point I've been a just and merciful king ? but it seems to get me nowhere.
The REAL consequences of killing every lord you find show up later in the game... BANDIT PARTIES. The less lords there are the more bandit parties there are because there aren't enough NPCs running around with armies to help eliminate them. Killing lords all willy-nilly results in a bandit paradise later on.

Never execute, always free them!
-> If they have good traids and stats: try to convince them to join you (if you spare them 2~3 times the sympathy should be high enough)

-> also free the ones you don't like! ...wait till they come again, fight them again until they have to take garrisons with them! ...this will make you a lot of money and it will weaken them so you have better chances to siege their castles/settlements!

...regarding the conspiracy ... try to negotiate peace! (you have better chances with high sympathy) ... if you manage to be at war with only one kingdom at a time you have so much better chances and can wipe them out one by one.
(only beeing at war with one at a time also helps you to maintain a stable income because your caravan gets attacked less often, and you have time to rebuy workshops ... just keep them spread out or in your kingdom)

Until long term relation building and dynasty(player death/children) are implemented, killing them all seems the best way to play.

Honestly at this stage in development I don't think I could ever recommend starting your own kingdom. Too much either doesn't work as it should or is too bare bones to be enjoyable. You can't choose when you declare war, you can't choose who you declare war on. The act of recruiting lords is an act of trial and error at best. At worst its an expensive waste of time and resources. Even the act of defeating lords isn't worth much unless you go maximum scorched earth. Amusingly, the mechanics of Bannerlord encourage a very "ends justify the means," Machiavellian style of play. Which could be fantastic down the line but for now it has yet to be fully realized.

I don't see the point in AI lords. If I can beat them at my leisure, by myself, on hardest difficulty and smash their towns likewise..... what exactly do I need them for?

Now in Warband I play the 100% build honer fast, end up with 20 devoted honorable lords who worships you- Utopia-Calradia-style.
If this kind of system show up in BL I'd totally do it, but for now they're a buncha freeloading fickle bums.
