Only a few servers

Guys, please I need your help !! I would like to join a regiment, but I can't, because I only see like 20 servers (15/20 are native), I always have to play on two same servers, I have a router, it may be the problem. I tried turning firewall off but it's the same.

You should make sure your game is updated to the latest version (1.153). You can also toggle the server filter while selecting a server to join, so that only servers compatible with the module you chose show up.

This sounds like your problem. Hope you resolve the issue

Yes, I have hamachi, and the latest version of the game, I didn't find a solution in the topic.

Assuming it's not a pirated copy and updated you should have no errors.

Ive got to feeling that he has a pirated copy.
Else he has filters on.

I have the exact same problem, and I can tell you I am not running a pirated version and don't have hamachi.  My version is completely up to date because I run it using steam.  I have 20+ friends who play with the steam version online and they do not have any problem with so few servers populating the list.  Not a single one of them.  I've gone to google to try and find a fix, but it's like only 3 players in the whole community have the issue.  Also, no filters are on.  I've tried everything in the join game list.  So I guess I'm just fuxed that way.

Hello, have you tried these instructions?

Start by double checking that your firewall is allowing warband access to the internet etc. If that doesn't work try completely disabling your firewall just to make sure.

If that doesn't work try this: My Documents > Mount&Blade Warband > rgl_config

Open up that file and look for these two lines:

use_secure_connection =
max_number_of_connections =

Try changing the use_secure_connection to 0, if it is already 0 change it to 1.
Also, what does it say your number of max connections is? Try changing the number to 5 or 6 instead.

The two edits usually are used to fix disconnecting during a game, however it helped me see all the servers again. Hope it helps.

First of all, thank you for the advice Moogs.  It improved the problem slightly.  Instead of not being able to see 700 of the servers, I can now not see 600.  I've tried 1,3; 1,4; 1;5, 1;6,and 0 with all the former numbers.  I tried turning off my firewall and the list did not improve.  Anyone else with advice?


edit:  I also removed the binkplay startup video, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, and I verified the cache.  Any Dev have some advice to give?  This game is awesome and you guys did a great job, but I can't truly enjoy the experience if I'm essentially locked out from 6/7ths of the servers.

Best thing you can do is go ahead and look up other fixes on the FSE website or, if you must, open a new thread asking for help. You may get dev assistance on there too.
