Only +2 Relationship Gain when Freeing Lords After Battle

Wiki says I should gain +5 points, but I only gain +2 when freeing lords, no matter what their personalities are. There was a time wherein it worked fine, and I actually got a +5 relationship point increase, but since then, I have only been gaining +2 points. Is this an intentional feature or a bug? If it is the latter, then is there a way to fix this? How so?

I've noticed this too, but depends os their personalities. I think with Martial lords you later get further +3 when talking to them too, but I could be wrong
