One shot, one kill OR better arrows

The only One-shot, one-kill mod I can find CTDs during game startup.  Anyone know of another, more recent one?

How about making arrows more powerful...is there a mod for that or is there an easy way I can tweak it myself?

Download item editor and increase arrow damage.

There are less arrows than bows, so it would be easier to edit the arrows.

The North 912  has powerful archery. Choose archer in the character creation and you get a one-shot-one-kill bow.

We'll get rather short battles that way.

It's also better to edit the arrows since ranged weapons have decreased accuracy the more damage they do. It makes no sense, but I'm fairly sure it still applies.
