um i am a newbie of this game
i started it yesterday.......
and i saw some of the posts saying that players can capture the "losers"
but i simply couldnt do it
the capture icon was dark.....(ie.cannot click on it)
so how do you guys capture them??

also, after winning a battle, you will come to a box where you can see your teammates' names and the losers names. i saw that there were two kinds of "names"(i dunno how to say,i am not good in english) on the top left corner and the bottom left corner. what is that?

first you will need prisoner management skill.in war don't kill your opponents in order to do this use blunt weapons.finally capture your opponents then sell them :)

The top left box shows the enemy's prisoners which you can free and put into your team. This is a great way of building up an army without having to pay for it. You need to put points into the leadership skill in order to have more units.

The bottom left box shows captured units which you can carry in your party and sell to the guy at Zendar or at the salt mines. They sell for 100 gold each and aren't worth it, except for very early on in the game. However, some faction quests require that you capture either one special unit (like a nobleman) or a quantity of enemy units (like 6 Swadian knights), so it's good to have 1-2 points in the prisoner management skill.

I dont give more than 2 actually. Becouse after some point (which is quite close to your start) you try to earn so much money that carryign around slaves costs you more than it earns you. So give leadership and party/personal skills and go for some caravans. Better money and more fun:p

Instead of going all the way to Salt Mine or Zendar, you could just take a quest from a Count/Merchant or salvage some bandits/caravans/war bands. You dont have to suffer slowing as well.
But if your slaves are fast... Well. *considers giving extra points on Pris man.*
