omg, huge bug in a fight

lol, i just saw a huge bug in a fight !!!!

I was helping the Noldor, to improve my relation with them, in a fight against the Empire. And there was about 30% of both party (mine and Noldor) that was fighting, every others was staying there and letting the ennemy killing them (like some1 who's AFK).

After some times in this fight, where i was trying to kill them all alone before evryone of my party get killed, i noticed about 10 guys of my team were killed pretty fast, i turned around to see what was happening and saw some other guy's falling down their horse and dying without any one around them (it was realy strange cause it was the same thing that if i use the cheat to kill people... but used by the computer.  And no, i dont use cheat, they are not activated)

I know my english is not perfect, but wish your gonna understand what im trying to say...  and i want to know if any one else ever saw this huge bug?

nope something like that has never been encountered and I think yours is the first report of it.. So I would just chalk up to a random fluke more than anything else honestly.. Also, arrows may been strafing your guys from behind, so even though no one was behind them, they may have been getting hit by some arrows somewhere from the enemy, thus cause them to die.. Other then that, best bet is to keep on playing and save often.

i saved all 5 minutes hihihi.  And no, i dont think its arrow, cause i saw them dying pretty fast, they were pretty close and there was 5 to 7 guys whos died real fast, like a fast control+2 (im not sure of the exact cheat button)

I realy dont think it was arrow, the way they falled down (all the same and evry one falled in 2 second maximum). I played for a while after that evrything was ok.  It was just pretty strange 


I must admit that even the ennemy, that was still playing normaly, was much easyer to kill then normaly, they were trying to kill people and never tryed to block any thing

This "not fighting troops bug", i have encountered this, and the cause was: I was giving commands so fast, i screw the order and gave the "blunt weapons only" order, which caused all my troops go idle (since noone of my knights have blunt).... Maybe something like this happened to you as well.

As for dying troops, i know that from other side - i play for empire. You were right, it wasn´t arrow - it was a crossbow bolt . Much harder to spot, much deadlier when hits. When i deploy my xbows line, i can just start counting enemy casualties, and the bodies pile up quite fast!

i dont think it was the order blunt weapon only, cause evry ennemy were killed and not knocked down, but for the crossbow or bow, like i said, its possible, but how many chance ou got to see so many guys falling down their horse in less then 3 seconds, 1 by one pretty fast.

(if you dont understand what i mean, start a new game, activate the cheats and kill them with the instant kill thing, you will see what i saw on my troups, it was exactly the same thing)

My entire army has done this once; they just stood around doing nothing, didn't listen to any orders, wouldn't move they would attack if something walked into striking distance though.
