OMG A First!

I have been playing M&B WB for quite sometime and have never been able to break apart from a kingdom with my lands  . I even made a comment about it on another thread this morning. But just a moment ago... I managed to ! I was shocked, and could barely comprehend what just happened . Then mere seconds later my former liege stopped all wars . Now i fear he will be coming for me. I am using Dip Mod. Own 2 cities 2 castles and fiefs associated with the city's.

My questions are as follows.

1.) How long do you thing i will last as a former member of Swadia? [Have 120 Knights between my estates and party]

2.)Is this a byproduct of playing on harder settings with realistic saving?

3.)Has this ever happened to you?

I will be playing and coming back to this thread off/on. Any suggestions other than cheating will be appreciated. Keep in mind i have started my own kingdoms before. I am just nervous starting it under different circumstances.

Boost training in most of your companions and make 1 good at persuasion and until you get some archer units and build up good Garrisons in your fiefs play defensively and try to get peace as soon as you can with anyone that declares war.

Well i gave 5 territory's back to the king than ignored all his feasts while maintaining my cities, then i conquered a castle after he gave away the property i did not want. All in a short time, then once i conquered the castle i requested it awarded to me, but talked to several lords about supporting some other lord. Its a little complicated and very tedious.
