I joined M&B with version 0.632. What I think might be interesting is to put up links to ALL of the previous playable versions of the game. I think it might be neat to see what it was like way back in the day (I assume today is "back in the day" because we are still beta therefore, previously, it was "WAY back..."). Maybe someone could put up a thread that has links to all the versions? Anyone else interested?

EDIT: Yay to me, I'm now a craftsman, wahoo!

Could be nice, but I'm wondering does Armagan have enough server space to do this? Personally it doesn't matter a lot to me, but I do think it would be nice to put up the last fully stable version for those on dial-up cause these patches have to be murder on them.

.

Considering 8000 people bought the game and who knows how many others downloaded it (50-100000?) x each update = bandwidth bill I don't want to know about, so I'm guessing server space is the last thing on his mind.

Many different betas could look cool but they would probably confuse newbies and reports of old bugs would surface again, maybe on some separate page and linked from forum.

Hit the dowload button for the newest one, when it ask if you want to save or open or whatever, hit cancel. Now type the version number of the version that you wnat to the part where there is 0.700

EDIT: Hmmm... Doesn't work anymore.

Well you can always make a super hidden link for "old versions", and on that page a short disclaimer saying "This versions are no longer supported, click here for the current version.
(at least that's what i did for my last game)

Btw, older versions barely take bandwidth, they take mostly space.

Well I got lot of space something like 11 unused Gb  and plenty of bandwidth but unless I get explicit permission from Armagan I'm not uploading one byte and there is no way I'm the one asking him about it.

Old soldier never volunteers that is way he is old soldier!

Id like to download 0632 again too. I liked the currency system better and also I hit targets better with bows on horseback :S dunno if its the version, but reall I preferred that one, except for the battle limits..
