Had a fantastic battle as the Russians, huge battles and we finally ended up taking Konigsberg.
These are some images showing us taking down the last remaining Prussian resistance near Konigsberg.
The Prussian army consisted almost entirely of cavalry taking quite a few of my musketeers off guard.
After much of the cavalry was dismounted, savage hand to hand fighting ensued.
Brave Russians attempt a final push
Everyone is getting involved, even the brave man carrying the standard! Fantastic show of participation (the man died shortly after due to a hit to the head, his face was cut into two)

My RP Spanish unit is doing good.
After several desertions (against my advice some lads tried to find the way back to Spain by their own means while I try to keep the battalion together above all), the general has attached to the battalion (though our fighting force hardly makes a company) a small complement of French hussars under lieutenant Aleillen (
), aswell as a small battery of two 12 pounders. They're nominally under my command and supposed to act as support, but I don't fool myself. The Spanish units are regarded as suspicious and prone to desertion (and rightly so), so they sent the hussars to keep us in line and inform of any suspicious behavior.
As for the artillery, I'm certain they have orders to fire on us if they as much as suspect we are trying to defect to the enemy lines.

I only captured a standard once. The French standard-bearer succumbed to musket-fire in an open field, just when a new enemy wave of 50% cavalry spawned. I raced to the flag and had my troops fire at will while I ran for the safety my line like a *****. I got slashed, but survived with a sliver of HP. God bless Britannia.

Yes, they are companions except for the Hussars because their officer is a veteran one. And yes, you can recruit a flag bearer once you reach the required amount of troops in each regiment(too bad you can't recruit more than one: it feels wrong having a flag for 100 troops of the same kind).devmc99 said:
