So, the mod is, as far as I am concerned, dead. Sadly, I no longer have enough time to actively play video games, let alone develop a mod for one. However, you are more than welcome to pick up where we left.

What all these branches do???
The Main branch is pure source code, if you compile it, you will get the same thing as in google drive file.
Testing branch - should be the newest relatively stable and working version, with some changes. Ask if you need more details.
testing branch - deprecated testing branch.
Troop Overhaul - changes made to troops now merged with Testing. You don't need to concern yourself with this branch.
Troop Overhaul New - new changes to troop trees, mainly balance and polishing, not yet merged into Testing. This should be the newest and up to date version
Troop Add Presentation - I believe this is a discontinued branch for an unsuccessful debug presentation.

The long overdue troop making tutorial
1. Create entries in Main Source/module_troops.py, if you don't know how check tutorials/top of the file for instructions.
2. If you added new troops, you may need to check module_constants.py. This file keeps track where troop trees begin and end, i.e. khergit_troops_begin, khergit_troops_end. Many scripts use these constants.
3. Assign troop abilities and prerequisites in Center Management/hub_scripts.py
4. Edit module_party_templates.py to include new troops in lords parties.
5. Edit module_presentations to show your new troops.

I don't think it will work. Python 2.6 is the correct release iirc.
