A more accurate question would be "Why are all online gaming communities full of trolls?" and "Why do all games lag when played beyond their developer-set limits?"
As a representative of Nexus I can say that our server is more than powerful enough to run effectively, client side lag is down to each individual's computer. We also work round the clock to remove malicious players (as evidenced by the number of unban appeals), however we do try to give them some chances to improve.

Nexus currently has a monopoly on the player base via their special banking system, and gear save feature. Not that I`m against those features. PW, by the nature of what it is breeds trolls, get used to it, and enjoy it.
@Peasant, get a good banking system, and change the name to something that does not sound like a 12 year old who just found out what condoms are!

We have a banking system, and I changed the name to Avalon_PW and made a custom map. Might pay the bill for another month to see what happens but I'm kinda broke cause of my car. I wouldn't mind mingling with everyone on nexus once in a while but i'm banned til mars gets colonized.

It is not a spiteful ban, it is in place to protect our players and forum visitors from the actions you took that caused harm.

I would like to make peace somehow. I miss being able to play, I don't want to admin or run a server. If there is anything I can do to make it up to you, I'm really not that bad of a guy I just trolled you guys after I got a harsh perm ban. Why can't we just let it go.

Peasant, it is only now when you realise no one has flocked to Trojan that you are sorry. The sole reason you are apologetic is that you want to be unbanned. Not because you think your actions are wrong. We don't unban those that don't recognise their own faults and make up for them.

I like how my genuine inquiry turned into an unban me pl0x thread.
In classic PSA style,
I'd like to inform would-be trolls out there about the perils of roleplaying 'being immature' in a roleplaying game. Firstly, it's rather lame, to the degree that the perpetrator is not even aware of it, as your eyes are unaware of themselves unaided by an outside source, the troll has no idea of what an unchill bro he really is, under the guise of being a 'chill bro'. Look kids, there's really nothing good in hopping around ranting an raving, taking others money and thinking its funny. As St. Augustine would say, refrain from trolling and your soul will thank you for it, it's good karma. (Case study: Blink 182 thought they were trolling real hard in the MTV pop-punk 90s era, and now they're has-beens. We see this same theme repeat itself historically, over and over.)
Furthermore Trolling has a very thin shell of what can be considered 'fun', everyone likes to laugh at the misfortune of others every once in a while, it's healthy,
but when you do it in a game 'for teh lulz' and make a habit of it, it gets redundant real quick. My guess is because it takes no real talent or creativity and you're just as subject to the 'need to fit in' with other trolls from teh webz, as you would be in a cheerleading practice. Most verily, you look like a pompous neckbeard, giggling like a schoolgirl at a PC game in front of your computer (god forbid you do this in public as I've seen on my univ campus), only to cry about it later on the forums.
I encourage the lot of you to genuinely find something to roleplay, or aspire to within game for the good or ill of others, but whatever you do, like the Charles Bukowski poem, 'do it with style' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Flg3SL0GYVU
