I think we should avoid creating characters from different clans when applying to join one.

For Example the Takeda has 2 members who are using the Sanada Clan & Hatori Clan so now noone else can use those clans unless they want to be a vassal.

i understand if that clan served under them at one point (the Sanada did serve under the Takeda) but the Hatori never did serve the Takeda i believe they served the Imagawa.

mhm yes, i talk to hanzo guy to change to an other clan name.(one that did served takeda) then he will change to that.
but we dont have to do everything historical accurate otherwise its not much fun cause u know what happens.

however i think there is a truth in what you say major clans shouldn't have lots of vassals lets make a rule and limit it to 1 or 2 based on the amount of ppl.
