I'm not 100% sure but in all the 17-19th century ships that I've seen the anchor winch is like that one I've posted
there's 2 anchors,and they are on the proe of the ship,just like this:

and the capstan winch is near the pope
but I think is enough of this off topic

I touched My scimitar up  abit, messed with the texture, and made the curve much more noticable, whaddya think?

Don't know if the specular should look the way it looks...
I think the metal parts should be more shiny than the leather ones!
...oh I nearly forgot to write they're amazing!
