Looks great , but ehm .. You need to increase texture's saturation a little bit I guess.Rigadoon said:Another GoT armor.
Actually , about that squarish part , I thinked about what this can be because yes , like you say , Its not look like that it is perfectly fitting with the other side. But I guess there is no logical part for this thing rather than being the extension of the hilt.Because if there were a wooden part between hilt and this piece , then dagger would be really long so It would not be a dagger after all if It was that long.Meevar the Mighty said:Isn't that dagger Hattian (pre-Hittite)? It's a nice one. Haven't seen that particular picture of it before and it's strange because looking here, the squarish part of the grip isn't attached and doesn't look as though it can be attached, but perhaps fits around a wooden handle, to which the next part is nailed. I wonder if part has been replaced.
I spend only 30-35 minutes on this one so I just reconstructed the general parts but thanks for your nice advices. Btw about that scratches , well they are not actually scratches.I tried to do hilt like elvish style which is not looking awesome in the render.Meevar the Mighty said:To look at some details, you're missing a lot of nails, the aforemention squarish section isn't squarish, the ears are too thin and rounded, the flattened guard section isn't flattened, most of the hilt is too wide and thin and your sheath fittings are inside the blade.
The textures also don't fit - do you see any scratches or creases on the solid gold hilt?
