Textures almost fixed. I still have few parts with odd aspects, but no more like I had before.

@Highelf : thanks for the advice. I checked up for the mapping, and exported one object after an other. It was that, I think, my biggest error : I first exported all the objects in a single .obj file. Thanks to the forum for the advices !

The "texture" looks crap... You vertex painted it, right? Use the Native textures for a better outcome. Nice tower nonetheless.

Right... I still like the native textures more.

Give the texture some depth/shapes etc. Atm you just painted a sheet full of brown color...  :roll:  Or you could seriously start considering to use the native textures instead.

Edit: Also, please do not praise your own work too much because it may seriously annoy some people.
 
Easy way to create decent wood texture in photoshop: choose 2 shades of brown (darker and lighter), go filter -> render ->  fibers and play with the setings.
 
Well, while I am waiting for the new module system I figure I'll work on some models.

Here is an ivory ninja katana (124 polys) and throwing star (148 polys) I'll put into a mod as soon as I can. I was at first going to just retexture one of the strange swords, but they have some serious problems with the polygons on their blades. So I made my own (I like it better anyway :razz:):

And here is the hood I just finished (236 polys) with a dummy head for reference. The cloth texture I used is VERY dark (the better to kill you with):

Those are nice butterfly-edge blade textures, but they wont really work with the "black ninja blade" texture I am using.

Here is a sai (306 polys) I just finished - kama coming up! I keep adding these "ivory buttons" to each piece of ninja equipment, and I for one think they are quite stylish (though poly-consuming):

I used the Native stuff to make the armor, but I made the hammer from scratch (the model not the texture). The hammer texture was made by RR_Raptor65.

Somebody want to rig the armor?
 
Thanks! It is some of the regular stuff I have been making in secret for my mod. Too bad it won't be of much use if I don't find a way to get it rigged...
