I must say wings 3D was the first 3D programm that works like blender (you can't create a vertex from no where, but need a mesh or some sort of object to start editing and creating) that I was able to manage with (i think) good results, thanks to the great tutorials from Highelf (I may say he taught me everything). Before that I worked with the free version of Google Sketchup 6, with wich I was able to create fairly good 3D models that earned me 19 out of 20 in project work. I still have a problem with .dds textures (I don't have a .dds supporting exporter) so I just use the vertex painting (not compatible with anything but wings 3D...). I hop you like my work:

These were the first swords I made (I've a samurai mania

):

Then I tried something more simple (straight swords) and yet a bit more complicated (with details in the blade):

And after that, I tried a pole weapon, in the same category (dark) as the previous swords:

Finnaly, I tried a bit more complicated sword, an elfic one, but the handler is kind of funny:

At the moment, I'm trying to model a viking boat, but I'm having some trouble making the prow and the stern, mostly because I'm trying to model the faces as the real wood boards would be, giving an real effect:

(I had some fun painting the shields...

)
I hope you like them, and if anyone wants one of these (I'm still finishing the boat) just send me a pm and I'll be glad to send you the ssource files (wings 3D model).
With the best regards, berna1111
(I just noticed the images don't show up the way they were suposed to, I'll try to fix that... Sorry for the trouble)
