I'm saddened by this, though I understand it would be annoying to end up fighting the same guy no matter which clan you attack.
To be honest I think both Dojo and KoS care too much about winning campaign battles - hence the regular complaining and wild accusations about game rules, faction choices, team composition and battle tactics. But carry on if you think winning land in the campaign is more important than enjoying the game and being nice to people.
Regardless, in future I'll check that clans who ask for my help have given their own members a chance to play, and try to avoid fighting repetitively against the same clan. Or I'll just cave and join Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Warband. On that point though I think we shouldn't suppress mercenaries too much, since it would be nice to let non-clan players in on the fun - being so competitive that every match is clanners only with strict rules is a sad and empty way to live (see paragraph 2; also episode 13 of Cromartie High School).

As it its mercs are pretty much excluded from the game, because nearly every match is set to a clans player limit. Same reason SPLH broke with KoS, no point in an alliance with a team that will never need any of your players.
It'd be nice if we had one or two larger battles, say thirty on thirty, where the clan lines were a little less set in stone and the pub players/AoS could get in on the game.

We care about winning to the point where we care about every competitive match, and so does anyone who is competitive (i believe its the definition, YOUVE GOT TO WANT IT, cant be competitive without the eye of the tiger see rocky III).
I personally think you are too good a player to be playing for everyone we vs papa. I mean i have nothing against the merc system, but you have been in alot of the battles against Dojo and i think it should purely be reserved for when you cant make numbers and should actually BOOST your chances of winning (quite the opposite), and we feel that it is sometimes even a scale tipping factor when a clan gets a good player like papa. SPLH do need a real good player, and that should be you. Get involved in Clan politics and supporting a side and join SPLH and then maybe we will start to fear them. (nobody fears them papa, they need a champion).
Or join KEEN, sure they will take you, maybe, possibly.

Maybe the best thing would be if we had some pure clan matches where, as you say, mercenaries would be included only if necessary, along with, as Moss said, some big fights with mercenaries on both sides.

I don't think it mattered too much in this recent match, since I performed at about the Rawr average, but they didn't really need me and I have fought Dojo a lot since KEEN left.

I have nothing against Dojo or Doom, as a matter of fact i love playing with/against you guys especially spirit/oosh/kimbo cause its fun to insult you guys and u know im just playing around.
I think the whole Dojo V Kos thing has soured peoples sense of humor on this thread.

Whether Doom was joking or not, for the record Papa, KoS has never once taken a mercenary/ally over a KoS/AoS player and I sincerely doubt we ever will.
Also, I am never going to fight in a battle which singles out particular people in their rules. "No ally/merc" battles, such as our last one, are fine. "No Papa" battles are not.
I hope and trust the rest of KoS feels the same way although I can't speak for them.

speaking of KoS vs Dojo, ust wondering, is there a go for this sunday or any dates in mind? or any ideas yet on whats happening? I am pretty sure we can do this sunday the 20th, but i guess we need to know nowish so we can get something up on our forums for sure. Are you guys ok for sunday? and numbers i believe we can make 15, possibly even 20 if we puuush had alot of reserves for our battle against rawr this sunday.

I see a lot of " we dont want to use our **** members for battles" attitude coming from ALL clans and it disappoints me, just to mix it up, For Rawrs battle with splh that is due soon, I will be using our new/less experienced player only, besides myself ofcourse just to give new people the experience of playing in a war. I dont see why you all have that attitude. This campaign is meant to give us all "fun" competative gaming but all i see is negativety toward new or bad players. Rawr has meow, in which we place either new or players who are not as good as most. Yet we will still give them the opportunity to play in a proper battle. Learn this lesson, all of you.
On a side note, Am i allowed to use the Meow members in our battles? or do i formally have to actually give them land. If not, ill just promote them all to rawr for the battle and then demote again, makes no difference as its just a hassle. Bye.
