I am interested in joining a clan. My online name is Aetius. Not sure which clan i want to or can join. Preferably a Vaegir clan as i love the Vaegir poleaxe (called Birdiche or something?). Although i don't really mind which faction i join.

Laszlo, I think only a couple of our dudes have bought it yet, so it's gonna be a while. KEEN are still allowed to attack other peeps in the mean time though, aren't they?

Yeah, they can attack other clans in the meantime. Dojo and KEEN are salivating over your territory, so get your army updated to the release version soon so you can battle them!
Oh and a note to hS clan; in my recent rule revisions I eliminated the distinction between Kingdoms and Clans, because most people didn't understand the concept. So technically, hS is a vassal state of IH now; which means I need your clan details! Do you guys have a website, thread, or heraldry for me?

I'll put up a small explanatory statement to better communicate the gist of the campaign to new players.

Think of it as an ongoing arena in which clan battles are fought to measure the relative strength of oceanic clans.
It's not so much a game with a known start and finish date, it's more of a project that runs alongside the Oceanic Clan community to provide a hub of activity and recruitment.
As for joining; the best way to join is to get into one of the clans that own territory. That will be hard if you're new because you need some skill to be accepted into a clan.
You can offer yourself as a mercenary, but again, if you don't have a reputation then clans may not be too interested in using you.
So I'll admit, at the moment, it may be hard for newer players to get in, but I'm actually working on something at the moment to get new players into the campaign quicker.
Laszlo, I can't demand that people buy the game. Life just doesn't work like that. Anyway, as soon as an acceptable number of us have it, we shall play on the soonest available date.

Am I the only one who can't see half the games_on_net servers?
2 of the 5 GON servers are still up, and running 1102. (1 of which on medium combat speed), the rest crashed it seems.
ACC reckons they'll be down until this whole easter long weekend thing ends and the GON fellas get back to work
