Just a reminder to Rawr about tonights matchup, i believe that the defenders have choice of server, so for our defence we will be playing on the Aus_Battles server. You can choose whichever server you want, but as we have admins for the Aus server amongs the players in tonights game itd be awesome if you choose to play your defence on the Aus_Battles server too. Plus itd mean no server switching hassles. We just find GoN 3 to be a bit laggy/unpredictable with its combat speed. Feel free to practice on medium speed all through today to get accustomed to it on the Aus_Battles server.

ps. We play more on GoN atm as the PWmod meant the battle server has been down for like a week, so we are just as unused to medium as you are, but its just such a better speed.

Anyway, no hard feelings if you still want to play your defence on GoN, but our defence will definatly be on the Aus_Battles server. just a heads up.

(kindly post here which server you choose, just so we know where to meet and stuff)
We dont mind playing on the Aus_Battles server, so far we have about 15 confirmed, 10 is minimum still.
 
Yah it's not a rule, but I agree with Toad. I think the damage mirror should be turned off and friendly damage set to 100%. I doubt we'll get any within-team griefing in clan matches.

I've think we've all learned that changing the round timer in the middle of the game, regardless of who is winning, IS NOT a good idea.
 
Game sucked, xbow camping rooftops blows schlong. Nice ragequit.

The rules leave FF settings open to agreement between participants.

But I think it would be good for a consensus amongst clans on this issue. How about each clan discuss amongst themselves and see if we can get an official vote from each clan on FF settings.
 
I think the most important thing to say about that match is that my score was in fact considerably higher than shown in that screenshot, due to an involuntary disconnect in about the 4th round.
 
I know the majority of people are waiting for a ****storm to happen on forums. but lets not do that.

And leave the matter up to the team leaders and Lazslo.
 
Dissapointing match dojo. A bad move changing timer mid match so suddenly without consulting matt properly, but I feel we also have to apologize for the bigger dissapointment on rawrs over reaction. Pulling those numbers again the same time next week might not be possible now  :neutral:
 
Alright so the super handsome Azraine talked it out with Matt and Gerhart, and the match is postponed until next sunday.

So same attacks and counter attacks as already organized, still minimum 10 members, with 10 minute round timers on the AUS_battles server.

Bit of frustration on both parts. All quarrels aside, we both got a good amount of practice for the match, learnt that 10 minute round timers are certainly needed (on village with loads of players anyway).

There was a bit of ****ness changing it mid round, it wasnt organized, but at the same time 4 draws in a row was getting silly, but its ok, i think we all want the 10 minute round timers and next week will be a better match. VERY tough combat though, great game.
 
That was sad, gerhart said it right, bad move by dojo, rediculous overreaction by Rawr. Just wasted a night, not a proud moment for anyone
 
OK guys, lets all address the pink elephant in the room....

Rawr did a massive rage quit, we know it, you know it, we all know it.

This is how it happend

> Dojo proposed a time extension
> Rawr agreed that the time should be extended for the next round (what we meant was the next battle i.e the counter attk)
> Dojo change the timers
> This caused much frustration from the rawr players who took this as a under-handed act
> Certain rawr members decided to rage quit, which instigated a mass jump ship
> Things got fk'd up

At the end of the day there were errors on both sides, Dojo changed the timers mid game, Rawr over-racted like *****es.

Idealy we should have paused the battle, the leaders should have talked it out and we could have gone on with the match.


I think what we've learned from this is village is a very defender friendly map with alot of people, xbow on rooftop spam is very hard to beat. Even i was getting frustrated because i hate having to wait for a fight leading me to rush at you guys, which did not go down well with the rest of rawr. But at the end of the day Dojo u guys knew what you were getting into, xbow spam is to be expected on that map. Attacking village should be seen as attacking a castle, its fkn hard.
 
were gonna have to sit down and get the next match all sorted properly, lets not jump straight into organising the next battle tonight.

edit: Calis, thats a bit harsh to call your whole clan *****es, when not all of us wanted to throw in the towel, come on man.
