When is the battle rescheduled for btw? i would very much like this battle to take place without the failure on both sides.
Personally, i dont like to speak against dojo, but i was ******** raging at the way they handled the lateness of KoS. There was no reason we couldnt have played that game what so over, but some people i find like to ***** about KoS and find ways to be dicks to them more than actually play the game, and it pisses me off. Sure theres animosity between the clans, but there was some serious immaturity on the dojo Mumble, and alot of childish bull****.
Next time, play the game, or be played without. Me and Kimbo would have led the remainder of dojo, and next time im pretty sure thats what im going to suggest. More than likely ill just get muted in Mumble though.

I mean whats the point in a "if they are 5 minutes late, they lose their hex" rule. Who honestly cares about hexes? its nice in the context of giving battles a small amount of meaning and seeing what you achieve, but honestly we are organising these battles because we want to fight. A free win is just **** for all parties as its none of the fun for all of the paperwork.

Yahwade: I agree. No one was to blame for the fact that we were not ready on time, it was just circumstances that were out of our hands at the time. What I did want to address though was the fact that dooms post almost exclusively singles out KoS as being at fault. Not so. No one was to blame. I am just sick of all the hate thrown at each other because we are on different "sides".
As for the ACC1/Major Payne issue, he was banned because he broke GON server rules, and he was not unbanned when you asked because he has to follow proper GON procedure for unbanning people (i.e: submitting a ban appeal on games.on.net). This was stated many times by me and others. You have to remember that just because ACC1 is a clan member does not mean he is allowed to do whatever the heck he pleases with the admin powers he is given, and if someone were to provide evidence to any abuse he would certainly not remain in the position.

Good to hear that there are some in Dojo who haven't lost their perspective. All this inter-clan wrangling does is to make the Oceanic community a laughingstock. Heck, you find less drama and antagonism in septic politics. As Midgard said, it was pretty much a case of miscommunication, though I'd like to add that it was coupled with oversensitivity for certain individuals. Falling down and skinning your knee doesn't mean that gravity has it out for you.
Yahwade, as Scorch has said, MajorPayne had to follow GoN procedures to get unbanned. I believe he understood that quite adequately, though he seems to have neglected to inform the rest of the clan. ACC1 isn't a private server's admin who can throw out bans for the lulz, he's got to follow the rules and guidelines laid down by the server hosts.

The payne ban;
From my pov this was dojo being a bunch of cry babies.
Dojo all raged and cried more then payne did him self. And it had nothing to do with anyone but me and payne.. They all moaned and *****ed about it when it happened and that pretty much went on for the first week of his ban, Next time I will just kick out anyone who gets out of hand when it doesn't involve them.
I talked to payne alot in pm's to explain why it happened, as well as telling him how to appeal and get the ban removed.
Payne was reasonable to talk to. WE didnt ***** at each other, we traded opinions on a bunch of things, I told him how the rules worked with his ban and how he can avoid it.
I wont unban someone just because one of his fellow clan members asks me to.. It says nothing in the rules about giving special day passes. A ban is.. a ban.

A lot of people in this thread have been making an effort to talk things over peacefully, just because there's some folks on both sides who can't drop the drama whoring shouldn't get in the way of figuring out what happened, and how to make things run a little more smoothly in the future. Maybe everyone should just try being the bigger man if you think people are taking shots at you for a change?
