And the benefits argument. Try pushing that when you have a mortgage, a wife and several kids to look after. Try arguing against benefits then.

Plus you can't live on employment benefit, it really doesn't amount to much. =/

You obviously haven't seen people who do live rather comfortably just leeching off benefits.

There's actually live five families in the entire United Kingdom and every time a Tory wants to slash benefits, they bring the same people up. Obviously you will always have crooks who try to cheat their way into easy living but vast majority of social welfare actually goes to people who need it.

I am all for prisoners doing labor for the state. I'm also all for prison sentences being shorter, but harsher. No television, no recreation, minimal exercise time. The only thing you should be allowed in prison is three meals, four walls, a cot, and something to read.

That would not work because it does NOT rehabilitate people. They will go out and just try harder so as not to get caught. Finland has vastly better prisons and a more lenient justice-system and our rehabilitation rates are also vastly better than America's.

I got off Doing national Service in Colombia because I came to the UK.

The government provides you with security, transportation, education, etc.

my ****hole of a country.

Maybe that is why it doesn't provide those things.
