Look at the question above. If he said yes to a british unit its obvious they have other factions down the line.

Well, a yes or no  ?
If I recall correctly, the Canadians used the same uniform as normal British soldiers, if that's the case there really isn't any point in adding them as a unit.
not the same but similiar.
they had the same difference as one english regiment from another

Canadians, Americans or British, same to me

All I really wanted to know is if there was gonna be factions other than France and Germany.
Some point in the future we plan to add other factions.

Everything is looking simply marvelous, loving that French infantryman!

On the issue of including certain nations (e.g. America, Australia, Canada, etc.) it doesn't really make sense to have them included as seperate factions... or even regiments for that matter. There's not an awful lot of variation in their uniforms (compared to Britain, with Highlanders possibly being an exception ) and besides, it sounds like the devs would rather get a playable version out with the basic classes than spend time creating dozens of unique
regiments (at least for the initial release).

Which seems to me to be the best way to go about it, we're all itching for some trench warfare already, are we not?

So instead of pestering the devs to divert their time and effort towards including your country, simply reserve a regiment and use the default infantry class for the time being...

Oh and I'm Canadian, how dare you call us yanks!

My opinion. It really doesn't matter to me if there's going to be another faction or not. If it's starting off with France and Germany (which is how WW1 started out) then I am happy with that!

And I couldn't agree more with you Stevon! I my self am ready for some Trench Warfare!

Yes there is variation and yes it does make sense to include them, just not on the first release. Canada and Australia can stay part of Britain though being they were part of the Empire (dominions at least).

Exactly. I'm not denying there was variation, just saying it's not worth representing for an initial release.

idea, you could just make the factions the allied and axis powers (is that what they were called in WWI? im more of a WWII guy... sry..) and have basic infantry class etc for each nation included in the respective faction. ( is that what stevon was suggesting?)
