NW EU official servers...

Hey people!

Thought id pop in and mention that theres been a serious problem recently on the EU official servers with people tking and general abuse. I have been frequenting the servers for some time now and every day something happens. I have taken the odd tker as the norm now and I have even met the famous bettythebomber.

Tonight however I was truely disgusted, to the point of registering here and making a formal complaint.

At around 10pm-12am there were numerous people playing (as per usual) and there was a LOT of racist slur going on. The majority if not all of it came from members of 88th regiment. Im normally capable of ignoring people goading others and generally being idiots but it became personal to another regiment. It spiralled into a flame war over the chat channels and eventually the 88th decided to mass TK the victims of their racist slur. I believe it was the 42e or something like that.

Anyway im not normally one to really get involved with these things but frankly the things that happened today were appauling and unacceptable.

I do hope this is taken seriously as it really shouldn't happen on public servers and frankly it was way out of order. The sad thing is prior to all this happening an admin was present and actually warned someone else about being racist.

If it was the same mass TK that I witnessed, which I believe it was, then it was about 11pm-12am.

I was half watching Jaws on TV so I didn't really pay much attention but I believe it was 11:30pm ish GMT.

Honestly I feel like bit of a scab complaining about it as I wasn't involved but the mass TK was uncalled for. One of the members got an auto-kick for tking over the limit but some of the others managed to tk only a few so didn't get kicked.

Hopefully it can be resolved.

No, this is a good point. SA, SS and SSA are obvious, but 88 and 18 to most people would not be noticeable for what they mean, which I won't tell you here. And the fact that an "88" regiment was throwing around racial slurs, which means it was more than likely Jew bashing, reinforces the point.

Let's try to keep ideas like that out of people's minds. This is supposed to be a friendly gaming community, and as the admins have said, it would be best off without ideas like that plaguing the community.

If you have a problem with an offensive name or otherwise, contact the admins, don't say it to the world.
