Resolved NPCCharactersError: Requested Value "Companion"was not found crash .

Summary: Game crashes when clicking on New Campaign ,continue campaign or sandbox and multiplayer as well . The game crashes instantly giving this message it Says " Could not load merged xml file correctly: NPCCharactersError: Requested Value "Companion"was not found. Please help it is the weekend would really like to play it with my friends.
How to Reproduce:
Have you used cheats and if so which: No just downloaded the game again

Having the same issue here, when you say "Until then you can change these files..." Change them to what exactly?
