NPC Battle speed

I personally think npc battles need to be sped up a bit. While i was trying to get peasent women recruits last night, I watched a group of 8 dark knights and 12 dark hunters fight a group of 10 farmers and 12 peasent women.

After following the groups and letting them fight I realized how fricking long it takes for them to finish. It took the dark hunter group a total of about 7 or 8 days to finish off the peasents(yes, i sat there and followed em for the entire time holding down spacebar :sad: ).

I think the main problem is that the troops recuperate while the battle is going on. While I watched the fight I saw both sides get down to around 10 troops left (because of all the unconcious ones) and then saw both sides troops get rested and return to full power more times than I want to count.

I think that unconcious troops shouldn't recover during npc battles and also that the speed at which troops are killed/knocked unconcious should be sped up.
 
Wow. I've never actually followed it to the end like that... I do agree with you, they need to speed up a bit, or player battles need to speed up. As it stands, the world is on "pause" when the player enters a battle. I'd like to see that the world map change a bit after the battle is done. Perhaps in a fashion similar to when you stay at a tavern.

I agree with you it shoud be sped up
 
Yes, they do, wich has been pointed out many times (not that there is an easy way to find out(until now, sort of, search still sucks)). It might take awhile to fix and balance but it will be done. In the meant time just pretend they like to play long games of rugby or something deadly instead of battleing.
