WB Nouveau Mod Warhammer : Border Princes 2522

Users who are viewing this thread

Factions:
- Imperials: The County of Mortensholm. The imperial are coming mainly from the southwest of the Empire. They are under the divine patronage of Sigmar, and it's in his name that they try to impose their suzerainty on the Border Princes. The imperial armies are mainly composed of a core of pikemen and hallberdiers, supported by a mix of arquebusiers, longbowmen and crossmowmen. Their cavalry include knights and pistoliers.

- Teutogen: The Teutogen Dominion. The Teutogen are also from the Empire of Karl-Franz, but are coming from the Middenland. They worship mainly Ulric, the god of the winter, of the battles and of the wolves. They have kept their ancient martial tradition. Their armies are mainly composed of proud warriors and fierce woodsman. Their elite force are represented by the local chapter of the White Wolves Knights.
- Bretonnians: The Duchy of Lorraine. The Bretonnians are in the Border Princes since the Arabian Crusade. They have succed to fund a Duchy in these land, where they have etablished their own culture. Their armies are composed of levy of crossbowmen and voulgier, supported by longbowmen and sergeants, but their main force rely on the power of their knights.

- Kislevites: The Principalty of Zenislev. The Kislevites are the progeny of refugees from Praag who have settled here two century ago. Their armies rely on the markmanships of their archers and horsearcher, on the toughness of their infantry, and on their famous winged Lancers and their boyars.
- Tileans: The Verezzean League. The Tilean are coming from the other side of the Appuccini mountains. Tileans have ever been the main colons of these lands, and have funded many cities as Thessos and Lakoras. Formerly allied to the mighty city of Trentio, they have joined the Verezzean League after Trentio was submitted by its old rival Verezzo, 10 years ago. Their armies are composed of urban militia, mainly crossbowmen, and of professionnal soldiers and mercenaries.

- Estalians: The Viceroyalty of Montorea. The Estalian of Magritta have invaded and occuped the coastal city of Montorea in order to counteract the increasing influence of their tileans and arabian rivals in the Black Gulf. Their armies, inspired by their tutelar goddess Myrmidia, are on the pike and shot model, supported by disciplined squadrons of estalian knights.

- Avags of Zendri: The Emirate of Bergama. These former Kurgan tribeman are now slave soldiers who fight for the Sultanate of Zendri. They are mainly horse archers and lancers, with some arabian units.
- Westerlanders: The Halmar Union. The city of Halmar was funded by the sailors of the City State of Marienburg. They use a pike and shot infantry force, supported by light cavalry. They also rely on their alliance with their immediate neighbours, a clan of Keltoi and a clan of Norscs.
