Nothing Wrong With Cavalry. Everything Wrong With The Player

if you have problems with direct targeting, then use the move to position command (f1-f1) - with the command you can lead them to the flank and into enemy archer line afterwards. they attack automatically anything which is an enemy, even without the charge command. with that you can have precise strikes.
dont use the charge command itself.

cav is doing good, but not the ai strats (autocommand/attack command).

The units themselves are fine - very good in fact. It is just their brains that aren't quite right.

As noted... you can precisely place your cavalry, but if something else takes their fancy, they'll run off in the wrong direction. If you place them close enough that nothing is likely to distract them, it is often too close to generate enough speed to couch lance.

i see this movement problem too. either way they do couch the lance too late or they are simply too slow to couch as the cav tends to move at lower speed in certain formations because of the new movement system...
