Not playing until kingdom management is implemented and diplomacy is fixed.

Currently in game, all kingdoms have with the same issue: Snowballing armies of starving recruits, massive surplus of influence making it useless, vassals who hate their liege as there is a whopping 15-40 negative relation with losing a fief and no positive, and endless wars.
Thanks to the armies of starving recruits, battles are very trivial and result in the AI charging at you with recruits until they rout. AI seems to ignore tactics and cavalry, being a very small portion of an army, will refuse to charge until you make them.
Because influence is so plentiful, there are no downsides to taking every fief for yourself as a king, and this is the reason why we see so many AI lieges like Derthert, Rhagea, Caladog, etc, constantly taking fiefs for themselves. Since lieges and vassals inevitably become enemies, this just ultimately makes it even more likely that a liege will take everything for himself.
Council of Commons is broken and needs to be nerfed or removed entirely.
Clans will defect from your kingdom for absolutely no reason and its unplayable. I have 100 relationship with dey Tihr and they still left me for Derthert, after I convinced him to join me in the first place, and paid him 500k denars to do so.
Truces are non-existent and war is endless. Kingdoms with no fiefs will fight forever and even declare wars, their state of being COMPLETELY POWERLESS changes nothing when they consider war or peace. This is evident in all of calradia, regardless of strength. Weaker factions will declare war on massive factions. All factions, regardless of strength and current wars, will constantly put themselves in multiple front wars that they can't possibly win, and peace is up to the mercy of a 10% chance daily. With non-binding truces, it's entirely possible that peace can only last a whopping 10 days at most.
And ultimately I just will not play until this is fixed. The late game is broken, why even bother recruiting lords and slogging through persuasion checks, miraculously succeeding, only for them to piss off whenever they feel like it? The only way to play currently is actually by killing everyone and everything.

I'm not going to start a kingdom until it's at least somewhat developed, but I think they've reduced the snowballing very well from what I've seen lately.

I was going to write something like this, you did it for me, lol. Already deleted the game a few hours ago and moving on to another game for now. We'll not see that kind of content for at least 3 months I think.

The snowballing issue isn't as bad, but the endless AI armies of recruits makes it not worth playing currently.

It's definitely nowhere near as bad as it was on launch. Sturgia is still garbage though, and Khuzaits still have a natural advantage of horse archers in auto-calc.

I worded it wrong, AI armies "snowball" because theres no downside for them to constantly be raised since influence is so busted, cohesion is just a button you need to press, and defeated lords are right back in the action a few days later. They'll just keep recruiting and recruiting masses of worthless troops that they can't train.

My army is just composed of Palatine Guards I don't need anything else.
