Not included in any fief elections 10 times in a row, happened in two campaigns now.

Okay, so i play Western Empire, I am on good terms with almost all members, i take part in most sieges, i am clan tier 2, and generally doing very well. I have recieved one city from my very first election, and thats it, nothing else. I have captured over 7 areas with armies i commanded, and yet am never included in the elections for said places. It's always the same few factions, and never me. This would not be as much of a problem if i knew what influenced who goes on an election ballot. However, i can't find anything of what influences who is included, not voted for, in an election.
