The scariest thing about it right now is the effect it's having on the economy and jobs. I've already had to abandon getting Bannerlord just to pay bills cause the industry I work in is just going tits up. At least I can enjoy the beta for a while tho.

It's probably just the feeling of powerlessness. Almost everyone's had the flu. There are vaccines and treatments and it's a known quantity that can be and routinely is beaten. This thing has a lot of people scared because it's new, there's no vaccine, and it seems for the moment like there's no hope of getting rid of it.

More people need to read about the tens of thousands of recoveries, the tens of thousands who experienced mild to no symptoms, and the very common medications that are now showing to be very effective at killing the virus once it's in the human body.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Right now (and granted, I understand the death toll hasn't reached its peak yet), you're about as likely to die in a lightning strike here in the US as you are to die of COVID-19.

Chloroquine could be the answer to COVID-19. Not only does it seem to be effective in persons who are infected, it can also be used prophylactically. It's cheap, safe and readily available. We just need to get the FDA onboard with using it on EVERYONE that tests positive. Antiviral treatments are most effective the sooner they are used after infection.

New studies across Europe are showing this is entirely miscalculated information based off of early results from China. A lot of young and seemingly healthy people are needing to be hospitalized and dying as well.
