1.006 RUINED NW!  do not do it.  Revolvers are realistic.  Don't like it?  Don't play.  Shotguns ARE nerfed.  Want them to add REALISTIC RELOAD TIMES? no? then quit complaining.  Do NOT nerf accuracy.  The accuracy HAD improved since NW era and that is realism right there.  This mod is going for REALISM, no ****s will be given about your opinions

I'd quite like to see some of the realistic General skins in appropriate battles, such as Jackson for First Bull Run or maybe Lee and McClellan for Antietam. Also, with the announcement of the naval theme of the next patch, perhaps work could be put into a new map like the Siege of Fort Sumter! That'd be pretty cool ...

The confederate brigadier general has the uniform of johnston, who was leader at manassas.

Well I'll be damned. That looks amazing! I'm really intrigued by the Merrimack and the Monitor clip, I'm writing my A Level History coursework on this period, and I love all this 'active revision' I can get done! So yeah, I'm pretty excited for this now ...

Kind of a retread from my earlier threads in the Flying Squirrel Entertainment forums, but would a Mexican faction (Flashback to Mexican-American war/A Mexican Civil War) and a Native American faction be doable? I would imagine a Mexican faction would just require new skins and voices, but a Native American faction would be more hard.
