Hey now, I'm all for mature discussion and debate. 

Well, Young Hickory, you and I are good pals, and I know you to be a thoughtful and intelligent Southern gentleman, so it's not you I worry about. It's the 12 year old European kid who has no idea about what you are talking about who is going to weigh in on how cool slavery was that I am concerned with. This whole topic is just a time bomb ticking.

It would be like going to the forums for a WW2 themed game and asking people who they support, the Allies or the Axis powers and why... I'm sure there would be plenty of thoughtful discussion going on, until the pro-Nazi folks started posting their rants about ethnic purity.

Some things just don't need to be open for discussion on a video game forum. Especially sensitive issues from 150 years ago. But hey... who am I to question the forum moderator right?

Not that it matters since I neither lived during that time, nor am I American in anyway. I'll just go and support the south.
And i am actually a tiny bit better informed then most "Europeans" (and even many Americans) on the civil war. That is because I speak with the smarter people in America and Europe who like "mature" discussions such as yourselves. Luckily i found many of these on the internet, believe it or not.

As for my reasoning, well i like their accent, and i think they deserve some recognition for their true reasons, rather then the false slavery thingy. And a smaller USA means a more important Europe so bonus.

Well then now that i gave my completely useless vote feel free to find some more 12 years olds from anywhere so i can laugh my ass off at stupid comments and hilariously retarded discussions on whether the chicken or the egg was first.

It always surprises me that more people play/voted for Confeds than the Union. When recruiting for my regiment, when the person declines the offer, sometimes they tell me they won't because they don't want to be seen as a racist.

I'm a Texan living in Nicaragua and my internet although decent speed sometimes just goes out for a few hours. I also don't have steam and I need to buy a head set with a mic. If I can sort this all out I would like to enlist. I have been playing WB-S native, diplomacy and Pendor for months. I use a crossbow and assume its similar to musket or pistol and would be good to go with a saber.
