North Korea gets uppity

Predictable, really. Technically, it is an infringement of sovereignty to tell a country they cannot develop this or that weapon. The only right the "official" nuclear powers have to own nukes is that they just happened to develop them first, then decided they'd band together to prevent others from doing so (and then selectively ignored this prohibition as their interests dictated).

Largest Asian army vs. the world. Don't quite follow the logic that this is a great thing, or that forbidding nukes is necessarily wrong either, and since indiscriminate nuclear bombings are not going to happen (At least when it comes to the people who will likely deploy troops against the NK)... I'm going to go with:

Yes, this is very ****ed up

In a shining bout of coincedence, I saw this little gem just after I saw 'The Day After' (no, not after Tommarrow). Nuclear wars FTW!

Nuclear war is unforeseeable as neither North Korea have a warhead attached to a missile ready, while no other nuclear nation would support them. I mean the Yanks and South Koreans might well have it hard south of the 38th parallel, but it could well be that they might face 2 million Chinese volunteers and a good few elements of the Russian Armed Forces.

 Yes, We should blow up entire Earth because of NK nukes

Something like real war can't happen now (at least if we don't want to become some space rubbish in the solar system)

Sure we could. North Korea is a small enough country, and really only has the nuclear capabilities to take out a city, maybe two at most.

I would like to see any idiot that will fire dozens of nuclear bombs near the Russian territory.

Sure, nukes give as peace (because no one wants to **** up with guy that can send your country to heaven and vice versa) but it is rather unstable.
Let us think what happen if someone decide to push the red button...

Well WE obviously wouldn't be firing the nukes. Only North Korea would be bat**** crazy enough to do that. And really, they couldn't do too much damage with those. Nay, most likely it will be your average, pre-Nuclear type war, like World War 2 or something, minus the World. Besides, even if we did fire the nukes into Korea, Russia wouldn't have the balls to attack the U.S.

In the worst case balls would have nothing to say. It can be even: ****, they've fired their nukes. Fire!!! If someone is mental enough out there
And obviously: WE wouldn't be firing.

Well, I believe most countries with nuclear capabilities have anti-missile missiles or something, to intercept them or something of the sort. Of course, they would probably just hit Seoul, and steam roll the rest of the country, thus having it in a iron grip before our ground troops arrive. Really, it justs depends who will be involved or not. I mean, it would be a real boon if the Chinese joined in, but of course, theres a slight chance they might remain neutral. Would sour their relations with us though. I don't think we can rely on the Russians to join in: they got enough problems on their own. Iran might send some help to the North Koreans, but who knows. The U.S. will almost definatly join in, and if they didn't, our dear leaders reputation would be completely destroyed. Great Britain has a good chance to join in, the Scandinavias and the Germanies might too, for France it seems unlikely, and the rest will probably remain neutral.

Well, thats at least how I think it'll go down.

Now, how are the North Korean's military capabilites?
