After playing for a very long time in single player, I decided to give myself some ruling powers! So off I go to pick up a fight with Rodocks! I made them run for their lives and took a castle and accompanying village. Two months later I take a second castle, and Veluca is just around the corner, a very tempting target. I thought "what the heck" and went for it.
The chests work just fine in my -castles- (except I gave one of them to a vassal and now I don't have a chest there anymore, but the other castle is still mine and the chest is there), but in the city (in this case Veluca, but I don't see how that's important) I don't see a chest in the Lord's hall. I need a chest. :/ Really, I'm collecting a lot of masterwork stuff and I'm running out of space.
