Non-aggression treaties

I'm playing the Diplomacy mod for the first time, and just got around to taking over a couple of towns and setting myself up as king.  I was looking through the options in the court, and I saw an option "conclude a non-aggression treaty with..."

The only problem is, I don't have any non-aggression treaties with other kingdoms, unless the game is starting me out with one - so why am I  getting an option to end them?  On a related note, I'd like to know how to actually *begin* a non-aggression treaty. The Rhodoks are giving me enough problems right now, I really don't want to have to worry about anyone else

Have a kingdom relation of at least 10 with the target and send a companion through your minister to that kingdom to ask for a non aggression pact.

I have that - but like I said, the only option I get is to "conclude a non-aggression treaty".

I want to start one, not end one!

Just do it. Your companion will go and make one.

The word "conclude" has several other meanings.

Conclude a treaty means finish a treaty not end the non-aggression.
