Nobody wants a war

It's been 200+ days since the last war. I've provoked numerous factions multiple times by stealing their lords, but they never responded to my provocations. They do however fight with each other a lot. Is this normal? I could of course force-start a war out of the blue, but I'd rather avoid that.

PS: all my lords are good-natured/upstanding, if that matters.

How strong are you, maybe they ignore you because you are too weak, or they are at war with somebody else and don't want to get in war on two fronts.

Not very strong in terms of territory or number of lords. I have one town (Dhirim), 1 castle, and 13 lords.

Stealing their lords doesn't count as provocation IIRC.

Why not? You lose 1 honor and some relation with all your nice lords, but it sure is preferable to 200 more days of thumb twiddling.

Well I try to RP as goody-two-shoes, but yeah I'll probably just start it myself. Weird, though, why AI doesn't attack.

Ah. As good a reason as any. In that case there's not much you can do.

I'm pretty sure recruiting a lord gives them casus bolli to declare war on you. Might want to try that route.
