Noble horses?

They should make it so noble horses are needed to upgrade to the upper echelons for the, you know, 'noble' cavalry troops. That could be a 'fair' way to justify making the noble troops stronger than they are for some (more cost/time investment) and more unique.
The only reason I could see why it was done the current way was either lack of foresight/error ('silo' dev departments) or some sort of 'trick' to allow modders further baseline toolkits to do with it however.

Only one type of noble cavalry is powerful enough to justify roughly 7x the cost of a warhorse, and that's the almighty Khan's Guard. The rest of them are within the error bar of non-noble heavy cavalry in terms of performance.

The point isent about war horses. That was more irony.
But what to do with 40+ noble horses? I havent notices any troops use them in upgrades.
There aren't any, that's why Noble Horses should be exclusively for Lords.

Putting them in upgrade requirements for troops, even Tier 6, would be awful, can you imagine spending 5-10K just to upgrade a single unit and then it just dies to a simple militia spearmen? Let's not give TaleWorlds ideas, though it could balance the Khuzait Noble Line... But eh even for a Khan's Guard that's too expensive if you ask me.

They do still give a party speed bonus like all actual mounts, but you could sell 1 and buy like 10 regular mounts, so pretty silly to keep them in inventory.

Also, talk to villagers from horse ranches as they are going to town. While you’ll have to buy their full haul (minus the work horses as it was a problem with the code that’d you buy all their pack animals even if they didn’t intend to sell them), the entire trade penalty is dropped for the horses. While a horse is selling for 500 on the market, those villagers will part it for like 300. Pretty nifty
Ah forgot about this, never understood why villagers sold for cheaper than village though.

Whenever I stop at town there's hardly any War Horses, even from horse production bound villages. I mean I can grab a couple, but they aren't exactly cheap

Not sure what the point of buying/trading mounts is, since you can basically never sell them for profit. Those 7000ish Palmatian Noble Mounts don't even break even selling them in Town with hardly any horses to speak of LOL

I'm convinced this is the issue as well

They created a handful of "T3 Horses" which I listed earlier in this thread, but because they previously listed most War Horses as "T2 Horses", I think those working on it just assumed being a tier higher they should be Noble Horses now. So now we have an overabundance of Noble Horses that aren't good for too much besides extra cash (just what players needed). Really these T3 Horses should still be War Horses, maybe just because they are somewhat better they cost more like 1-2K.

I think mounts should be distinguished more like:
  • Mount > 100-300 gold, required for T2-T3 horsemen
  • War Mount > 500-800 gold, required for T4-T5 horsemen
  • Noble Mount > 1000-2000 gold, required for T6 horsemen
  • Royal Mount > Used only by Lords, 5000-15,000 gold (Tournament Prizes)

I don´t think they have time for ideas. That patch with fixes will be in GB before it´s out.

Money in this game is never an issue after 20-30 minutes of gameplay.
So noble mounts should be expensive. They are the elite. Usually their stats are better then most nobles.
A companion is around 500 denars to hire and they come with poor poor gear.
