Did they move them to later game or did they disappear. they used to be all over the place, I am now 500 days in and haven't seen either version.

In 1.4.1 they are late game and cost 250k instead of 30k

Like 250 000 price solves anything? This is getting really silly.

So now player locked out of this bows until stage of the game there this bow don't do anything? Nice one.

I haven't seen a single one in 1.4.1. I was thinking that maybe they're locked behind a higher clan tier, but if you're at day 500 and haven't seen any then I guess I should stop holding my breath. Its extremely annoying that all the high tier gear is so hard to find. I can't ever seem to loot the stuff and it doesn't show up in shops, so it might as well not exist.

The economy of the game is still bunk, so if I want a tier 5 or 6 item, I give myself it and toss away the money I feel it should have been worth (about 50k for the noble bow).

I have one. Found it around mid tier 3,
I see them drop pretty regularly from large armies that I am fighting in Tier 5.

Can they just make equipment show up normally like in Warband and all 100 million mods. Good gosh how is this so hard?

I can accept the 250K pricetag, as ridiculous as that is, but the whole idea of locking high tier stuff behind clan tier or whatever factor keeps it out of shops is the stupidest design decision I can imagine. You don't even know what to aspire to in the early game because it doesn't even show up. You look around the shops early on and see the same collection of crap everywhere. It just gives the impression that there's not a lot of stuff in the game. Its like owning a jewelry store and putting all the cheapest crap in the window and locking up the expensive stuff in a private backroom for only the richest customers. A store like that wont be in business long.

I agree, it's a terrible design. If they can't get this simplistic feature right it makes me worry about other aspects of the game.

Both pricing and availability of items is daft and needs changing. In a single player game I don't see why they have these restrictions on gear that your soldiers are equipped with. Unless you restrict access to troops by tier as well (which also would make no sense) why apply the restriction only to the player?
Put all basic items in the game into shops at all levels and at a sane price (so as not to break the economy when looting) and just add super expensive slightly better non-lootable Legendary versions of the items as later game cash sinks/hard to obtain things to invest for.

Nah. Just play as a smith. 120K for one sword ezpz.

Yep. Like it was in WB. I just cant understand some solutions of devs.

And i still think that regular guy, who wear gear that cost 1KK but fighting for 15 denars per day is just stupid.

Again, this is another issue that goes against sandbox play by adding nonsensical restrictions. If you have a million dollars to pay for high end equipment you should be able to buy it no mater what tier anything you are. It's completely ridiculous.

I bet, smithing will be nerfed to the ground next. Since this is last source of income outside battle loot left for nerfing.
100% its gonna get nerfed. They'll probably do something stupid like increasing the materials cost 50x so you can't even get started in it.

I was thinking the same thing. Part of me was tempted to do a run just to have a go at smithing while it was still profitable so I can have enough money to play around without having to do constant combat to get anything. Then I thought smithing is just so broken it's virtually cheating so I might as well just add gold to the character and save myself a lot of charcoal making!

Weirdly I was expecting them just to take the line that your goods aren't as good as the ones in the shops and therefore make them worth = or less to the cost of the raw materials.

I think they will just make huge selling penalty for forged items, like 99%. And nerf learning rates, of course.
