Really dumb question here -
I've been searching and searching for an answer but have found none, so I'm going to ask.

How do you get the nobility line? In my case, I'm the Marinians (sp?) and so I would like to get a Marinian Mercenary - so I captured a town, built that Bourqeuies thing or however you spell it. But I can't seem to do anything now? Do I have to do more?

You need a knight chapter - and you can build these only in castles...

P.S. I don't know if you also need the barracks, I always build these first.

No barracks is needed...
I wish I could make knight chapters in towns like in the beta... I dont want to pay 250 a week!

Wait a bit of time, they'll be garrisoned at the town/castle every day or so. If you can keep 3 or 4 castles for yourself to produce these guys, you should be able to have a 300man army of fully upgraded Marinian Mercenaries and temple warriors by point of the invasion.

Exactly what is the process for getting faith troops? I have built 3 temples now and have maybe 4-5 top tier faith troops sprinkled amongst my kingdom. I heard that it is an event that converts them to faith troops? Are there any other factors ie. do you have to have these top tier nobles in your own army for the event to occur or can you leave them garrisoned

I am probably just being impatient heh

I'm pretty sure they have to be directly in your party. You want to make sure you've got a lot of faith spreading too then you'll start getting the notice on an increasing basis.

I'm pretty sure they have to be directly in your party. You want to make sure you've got a lot of faith spreading too then you'll start getting the notice on an increasing basis.

Yup, just keep them in your party and you will get an event with three options; Go serve God (+honor), Stay and serve God (faith troop) or Stay and do not serve God (never picked it, assume -honor or no effect).

That is the whole point! 
You have to build the most expensive buildings and have a lot of faith which takes a while until you can start getting faith troops. I am expecting to have a good army of about 30-50 faqith troops by the time the legion arrives. It matters how many the rhdoks kill though, I took over the nords and would like to have all of the rhodoks too, so I have all 20 lords, or at least almost. I think 50 mounted faith knights would easily kill a legion lord. They all have lances which mean 1 automatic couched lance kill=half army dead plus my 10 companions with lances.
Companions+lances=overkill, anyone notcied that?

Yes.. thats why I never equip them with lances... I just give them a balanced bastard sword, shield, bow and arrows.. thats all they need
