No text after turning on and off cheat mode.

I wanted to see what can you do in cheat mode and after turning it off i had no text in the bottom left corner. Is there any way to fix it without restarting my game?

you can read the text using Notes -> {log/messages}

but just restart the game and don't cheat next time. It takes 30sec lol.

--> It prints too much stuff and can break the ingame buffer for messages hehe.

You can also read the messages on your rgl_log.txt

Just to clarify? Did you turn it on in 'Configuration' before you started the game, or from the "Camp Menu" in game.


Just for my two cents. It is very interesting to run the game in "Cheat" and "Edit Mode" that you can turn on in the "Configuration" before the game starts. You can check out all the NPCs, equipement, and explore the map. Also, the in game "Cheat Menu" is very useful information wise.

You want to use "Cheat" and "Edit" carefully though, they can break your game, especially in storyline.

Never knew of "edit mode" Il backup my save and try it out

EDIT : I cant seem to find the edit mode

edit mode

works for Windows only.

Launch the game -> you will see the Warband launcher (where you select your module), click Configure instead of play -> setup it there

Yeah, i figured it out, but thanks! I gotta ask, what does the "EDIT" mode let you do? Everything i saw was the terrain option.
