No such thing as balance in a skilled based game.

People keep screaming about Balance but lets make sure y'all are putting everything into context.

1. Skilled based game: The more you play the better you get. A brand new player will have a hard time compteteing with well seasoned veterans of the MnBs. nothing about balance will change the skill of these players.

2. Teamwork: Whatever stragey the other team uses if its an all archer team or a 3 way split cav/archer/inf whatever it is each game is a new game its up for the people on ur own team to either pull it together or lead by example.

3. Dialing in each class of play: I'm not a fan of the perk system ingame. I believe an archer or inf should be able to pick up or use or ride what they want at the same level the other classes could. I believe the perk system creates more fraction then what its worth. Each item is its own item ingame there shouldnt be a perk system that give you certain types of benefits for what every class you pick. everyone ingame should have the same equal playing field not decided by perks

Agreed, i think they should add +50 damage to two handers and give only 1-2dmg to all other weapons. I am sure your claims will hold water at that point still.

why should players have to pick what perks they want. The weapons ingame should have set dmg and what happens ingame would only be based on the individual players - Not Perks

If you agree and think that 2h weps should have 50 then would you agree that 2h weps should have no more reach then a punch ?

Are you all actually considering having tiny range overpowered 2h weapons or am i misinterpreting
The Falx has pretty piss poor range compared to most 2h weapons and it's one of the better weapons in the game.

I still think that the Rhomphalia should be the default weapon for the Savage with the Falx being the perk. Falx being a perk would definitely be worth bringing back its 1.5h status, and if its damage output is still not all that great, they could bring its two-hand speed back to 102 (it currently has a speed of 97).

I thought one of the main points of using 2 handed weapons in MnB was distance
Distance is somewhat of a factor, though speed is the main thing that TaleWorlds seems to balance around. In Warband multiplayer, 2 handed weapons will always swing faster than a one-handed weapon with a similar speed rating (in fact, I think you need an elite scimitar in order to compete against even the slowest 2h weapons). I assume this is to compensate for a lack of auto-blocking in multiplayer where as shields auto-block. Meanwhile, shields will lose less durability if you block in the correct direction of a melee attack, while the speed discrepancies between one-handed and two-handed weapons are less prevalent.

For a Better Game

This is why all skill based competitive games (apart from BL) all have an autobalance of some sort to make sure that all the skilled players doesnt join the same team.

Even mediocre borderline sucky players can do well if they are on voice, grouped and coordinated vs a team of purely random players but all double the skill of the other team.

When theres no balance, skill becomes irrelevant.

I think i've mentioned how the way certain classes are designed in such a way where individual player skill cannot overcome the disadvantages attached to them. With some effort, you can beat a shock troop, medium infantry or skirmisher (heavy inf if you're lucky) as most of the peasant classes, but the Recruit is weak enough that a Peasant Levy with Improved Armor/Village Militia would have little problem killing you. This is due to their weapons being so abhorrently wimpy that they are only a threat if a group of Recruits were to swarm a single target, and TaleWorlds has no intentions on changing this.

On the exact opposite side of things, 160 gold's worth of archer has a lot more mileage on Vlandia than it does on other factions, considering that the Sharpshooter's damage output is such that he can one-hit bodyshot most enemies while also having enough armor that he can screw up half his blocks and still come out on top in a melee fight. Other heavy archers are similarly armored, but also don't do nearly as much damage from afar.

I haven't had this happen yet and I was using the sharpshooter quite a lot recently. Also I would argue that the Veteran is a much better heavy archer seeing as it's 150g which can always be double spawned in skirmish and he has a mace/shield.

You say the recruit sucks as well, it is one of the only classes with access to a giant throwing weapon, that thing can one shot dudes off horses and a substantial damage to any other class. Peasant Levy doesn't even use improved armour and village militia, you would be using hammer and looter so you can grab tons of gold killing some smuck in heavy armour so you can go use something better.

Quite frankly sir, you're talking out your ass.

legit mabons just dont waste time, this dude cleary is a pro and knows his ****

Unfortunately a lot of players seem to have found the perfect balance to skill in multiplayer... they use cheat programs.
You keep claiming this, but alas you still aren't providing any proofs. Or are you just on your rambling spree again?

It's funny, one need only mention the obvious fact that these cheats exist and are being used and the rats that use them leap out of the woodworks to deny the mere possibility.

All games have this issue, Ill never understand why someone would wanna cheat in a game in the first place. Wasting there own time

It's difficult to understand because they have a twisted mindset founded in narcissism, from their perspective, its all justifiable, they create their own narrative for why it's not a bad thing when they do it and they don't see it as a waste of time, probably due to the sunk cost fallacy.

Bruh, I honestly just wanted to know if you had some inside information, but I have no idea what you are trying to say.
