SP - World Map no one has kids

So I am trying to play a long drawn out game and can't, almost all the lords are pushing 60 now and there are only 2 clans in the game that have kids. So if I die and take over as my heir my kids are basically going to be the only heroes left in the game.
So my recommendation,
1) all clans should have a fully functional family unit, so they can reproduce, maybe put a three kid limit on it so that population doesn't explode
2)put in some system were the AI actually lets it marry other Ai characters

There are not enough female nobles for that. Which is exactly the problem with having so few nobles and especially limiting the status of people one can marry.

I'm pretty sure NPCs marriage and heir system is not implemented yet.

Recently they added a lot of new female nobles, presumbably in preparation for this.
