No modding tools unless you have steam

Is there a way to mod without having the game bought on steam? There was promised modding tools for other launchers years ago, what happened with that? We literally paid the same money for your game, and recieved less content.

They don't need the excuse. You dont pay for the modding tools, you pay for the game. They are not obliged to give access to them on every platform if it's somehow inconvenient for them.

Just because they don't have to do it, doesn't mean they shouldn't. You're locking off people from accessing the modding tools, which is unfair to the people on those platforms.

I think the problem is with the plataforms that don't have support for different versions of the game (like the beta, older versions and the modding tools), is not TW that is holding it to be available... so epic and others stores should implement changes that allow this to happen

The Epic store does support more versions of a game, I´m not sure if it does support more than two but I have some games with the "normal" version and the "expiremental" (aka beta) version. So in case of betas it´s not Epics fault but TWs not giving a **** about their customers who bought it from Epic. But also they don´t give a **** in general so doesn´t matter that much.

Not sure about modding tools for the Epic store. But still Steam > Epic

Taleworlds itself promised modding tools will arrive in another form for other users. It's not about epic or GOG, it's a modding tool that should be accessible to every player. In steam it doesn't promises you can idk, do charisma checks with ladies, yet it will still have it. Now if it's not present in another store/form of buying the game, it would seem as unfair, wouldn't it? I love these company bootlickers, as if providing for a tool for people to make free community content is wrong or something lmao. I KNOW steam provides easier access to the tools but they can literally release it standalone, they just won't, that's what Im complaining about mate, it's not a hard concept to grasp.

I think this complaint is valid! I'd personally be happy if more people get modding tools = mod and make content along with the rest of the community so we all enjoy a better game.

What to suggest constructively, though... Either rely on this brought up enough and fixed... by the time EA is over, perhaps? I guess, there is a number of you, poor souls, who were unfortunate to buy on Epic and look forward to mod the game. I hope you are eventuially heard by the companies. Or just brace it and buy a second copy, sadly.

Anyway also Talesworld dont put those download links for public, i hope if requested directly the interested folks will be able to get access to modding tools. And sure interested folks will be not to shy or even snooty to ask for.
And such real fanbase for Bannerlord should be surely in the interests of Talesworld... or not?
For me still... The modders will be the putty for Bannerlord.
