No messages show up in game

I have been wanting to play this mod but every time I try, I don't get any of the messages that should pop up in the left bottom corner.  No weapon damage messages, no skill up message, no this kingdom is at war with that kingdom, no this lord captured by that lord, nothing at all.

Anyone know a fix for this?  Otherwise, I will have to toss this mod in the trash heap.

you must not be running the WSE launcher

I get the same thing, and use the WSE launcher

I got it so I keep getting messages when I'm waiting in a town now so it should work for you, will be in next patch
