Lose honours if we hold them for ransoms, but no honours gain if we release them?

Doesn't give us any choice. I was forced to released them =\

An honorable man wouldn't have held them hostage in the first place.  You are only releasing them for denars, no honor in that.

No, I meant those lady hostages we got from taking over town/castle. I let them go back to their families for free, shouldn't I get honours for that?

They weren't hostages until you captured the castle/city.  At that point, they became your hostages.  So the original reply to your post still stands.  Either continue to keep them as hostages or release them.  And an honorable warrior shouldn't be looking for a reward when he does what he's suppose to.

In fact, the honor benefit from letting captured Lords going after battles shouldn't even be rewarded with more Honor.

Well, they aren't exactly hostages. I took over the town/castle, and I let them go free. Doesn't that show I'm a honorable man and should gain point for it? Hell, even those ladies that I let go said I'm honorable.

Sure, a honorable man shouldn't get any rewards. He is just doing what he is suppose to do, but the game has the point implemented. And the point isn't the rewards, it's just there to show the man is honorable.

I'm pretty sure you get 1 honor point for each lady you let go. Least it was in 1.005.
