Nigel Farage

Dunno if anyone has heard of him, but I must say this Brits got balls to constantly pick a fight with the EU and I give him a tip of the hat.

Check out some of his speeches (not so much noted for eloquence, but I do smirk when world leaders are heckled.)

Whether or not you subscribe to the  political view points or not you may still find it entertaining.

Aye, that's where I first heard about him.
Wish we had someone like him as well. Not only are his blunt and sometimes outright insulting statements quite refreshing, but I also agree with a good bunch of the stuff he has to say 'bout the EU.

He obviously has this stereotypical British hate of communism and I find it annoying a little bit because it is the only thing he points out that is absolutely out of the context. He's talking about perfect democracy in an office cramped with well dressed pigs and bandits, speaking about the power of the people that is not respected, decentralisation of bureaucracy, he's trying to fight the corruption in the office...

and on the other hand, he speaks of communists like some kind of aliens enemy of the people and threat to society... I mean has he even ever read Karl Marx? Because the man absolutely sounds like Karl Marx, it's fascinating. Or he could be sarcastic.

Anyhow, he's awesome even tho he believes way too much he can bring back order in this stinking rot hole that is this neo-democracy.

to Tony Blair: ''Prime Minister 6 months ago you impressed everybody with your reform agenda, Even ME!! I said if you achieve your goals I would support you''

haha what a bugger!

This guy is awesome. Besides being subversive and pertinent, he is really funny. I like this video:

Unfortunately it is often hard for me to understand without translations.

Well there's your problem right there.

Good job it wasn't a Russian plane!

It seems to me that Farage is the kind of right-wing politician that labels anything to the left of his own beliefs as authoritarian. I agree with a lot of what he says, but it shouldn't matter if you're a socialist, liberal or a conservatist; if you value democracy you'd want to see the EU go back to being nothing more than cooperative efforts between European countries in terms of trade and possibly also crime-fighting. It's a shame such a small amount of the EU politicians do, though.

And just a short spin-off to something someone said; people claim the Soviet Union was communist, that Nazi Germany was socialist and that the EU's a bunch of greedy conservatists, but the moment a nation or a union crosses the line and adapts authoritarian beliefs, it's really rather useless to try and stick another label than "it's a dictatorship" onto it. They might make use of some economic and social policies of certain ideologies, but they differ drastically from those ideologies for the simple fact that they're not democracies.

It is the people that must unite, in the streets... globalisation brings all the pigs together. The people has to be authoritarian towards the politicians.
