I hate what I am about to tell you:

Artifacts are the only thing that can be colorless and cannot be instants. In order to be an instant it must be at least one of the five colors or a mix of them. To make that card more accurate, you can have it be a permanent and then sacrifice it to "ban target user". However, due to the high cost of it, I would suggest making it cost 4(tap) to activate the ability.

I am such a ****ing nerd/dork/loser/geek and I used to play magic all the ****ing time. Matter of fact, just to brag, I was number 8 in New Mexico for a while under the official DCI ranking scheme. Somebody kill me.
