5.29 thats were the 52nd would have been fighting   led by Sir John Colborne

In the film he says "Now Maitland!, Nows your time!" according to wiki it should have been colborne

I don't see why it's called "Ney turns tide at Waterloo". The Dutch Heavy Brigade under Major General Trip repulsed that attack by shattering the Cuirassier left flank. As well as Wellington's lights and the remainder of the British Household Brigade, not to mention the British infantry squares? It was an epic charge but if anything it turned the tide in the Allied favor.

hmm i don't like it, its just mostly audio voice mixes from the 1970's waterloo movie, that is a lot more accurate in a way. I suggest you watch that instead.

Mostly from the mini series Napoleon from 2002

You are all stupid, it said an "alternate Waterloo" not the real one. FFS MM is full of you idiots.

The fact is that video is made from a game with the intent to entertain not inform.

Whatcha talkin bout Willis

no one said it was real, you jump to your own conclusions?

The video was being discredited due to lacking historical accuracy as it wasnt portraying how the real battle went. The fact that those who posted above blatantly ignored the main purpose of the video which is to entertain as they are all experts in military history and everything that isnt historically accurate is not good enough for their sophisticated minds...

Ok guys sorry. My intent was to share what I thought was a well done fan made video using an era we all appreciate. The historical accuracy was not a concern of mine, I just enjoyed the sound score mixed with the different cinematography.

No point in posting any video that is historically innacurate, you'll just get ridiculed by the 'Historians'.

Thats why I stick to python

Tbh didn't watch it but seemed pretty well done for a Total war video.

I think it was the logic of what was depicted in the video (charging into squares etc) rather than the historical accuracy that bothers some. It doesn't appear obvious in the video why Ney wins the battle.
