Sergeant at Arms
Hi, I hate starting a new thread, but I've searched every keyword and combinations thereof that I can come up with and all I'm getting is all the various mods which have their own unique maps.

Basically, I'm after a screen-shot or drawing, or whatever, of the world map, i.e. the 'new' one we're all using now.

If no one has one, does anyone have any idea of how I might go about producing one, not being particularly artistic nor given to leaps of intuitive creativity but just getting back into the game after a long while and having a compulsive need to check the where-abouts of things on paper?  And it's so much bigger now, which is cool, lots of space, lots of castles and villages and interesting new places to explore (love the khergit architecture btw), lots of peoples to smash to bitsies, no pissy-river-pirates rather looters who appear to have no loot ( it might be just me, but wouldn't you expect looters to be carrying around something they had looted, some wheat or something?), but it's all a bit confusing to start with not knowing what's where or being able to plan stuff out.  Did I mention I haven't played M&B in a loooong time?

meep, sorry, I know - daft ; but it's sending me bonkers.

Ta much

Nothing about V.1 has been released to anyone. Just the ugly box produced by paradox.

He wants a map of 0.960, duh.

Edit: And by the way, there was never/will never be a 'V.1'

hmm, yes, that would be correct.

been forum-surfing, must go change profile, still looking for map.

Should ask this, but.... You do realize youc can move the camera independent of your party using the movement keys on the world map, right? As well as that, you can zoom to any city/castle/village on the world map via the quests screen.

While i know some people like to do stuff on paper, i think you'll find it bloody hard, as you'd need at least an A3 sized bit to fit it all there with enough detail to be useful: the map is much more cluttered and a lot bigger these days.

I found a map for .95X, which should be pretty similar.

1) Ori, Thanks, life-saver, I didn't think of the Repository (*slaps forehead*)

Chopping into bits with photoshop, this I should be able to do.  It is much more detailed now, I must admit.  I really am a paper-person, I like to check things and make notes, plot routes, plan strategies, it makes it more enjoyable for me.  Thanks to everyone, especially Ori, for the help.
